Great BBQ with good sized portions! But sometimes the menu can be limited. Parking can be a pain. We've actually left before to eat elsewhere because there were no stalls available. There isn't a lot of seating available in the restaurant so you may have to wait if they are busy. Service is usually okay. The staff is friendly enough. But they don't usually come to check on you throughout your meal. Everything we've ordered has tasted great! With the exception of the time we ordered the brisket nachos and the chips were stale. Last time we went, I was ono for the pulehu ribs but it was unavailable, along with quite a few other things on the menu. If there's a certain thing you're craving, you may want to call to ensure they have it that day. Overall, some delicious BBQ. Definitely recommend!

As someone raised on Southern BBQ, I've been searching for a place on the island that matches that standard, and I finally found it here! The BBQ is exceptional, worth the drive from the North Shore every time. Beyond the food, the family who runs it makes the experience even better with their kindness and hospitality.

This place meets all the Smokey heart smoke house feels for their AAA+ BBQ! This is my first time here. And one bite of their Dino Beef Rib with smoked Mac n Cheese with smoked saucy baked beans. I also got a side of cold slaw and a side of lamb chops which I will be missing until the next time. I love the picked jalapenos and onions which was so thinly slice right next to my Dino beef bone helps cut thru the chops of the fatty rib and the lamb. Here’s to Meggle’s for the Iced lemon Cake! DELICIOUS! My only suggestion is create a collar green side dish and offer some Texas toast or a Molokai Bread to sop up the fat and bbq sauce. Order a piece of Megans lemon cake.

Food is very good here. We were staying in Waikiki and it’s a 30 min drive from there. But offers a quieter and less touristy vibe which is what we were after. We ordered tacos and bbq brisket with the Mac cheese, sprouts and extra order of beans. Everything tasted great except the mac which was a bit bland.

Excellent food in a great little BBQ shop! Went with the All Meat Plate to try each of the meats. Only negative to this plate, is doesn’t come with sides like the other plates but worth it if you like the meats. The pickled veggies are a nice palate cleanser to prepare you for the next meat if you want to try one at a time. I went with the spicy guava chili sauce that was surprisingly addictive. The guava gave it a unique sweet taste, different than I am used to from KC or NC but delicious, and the spicy on the back end kept me coming back for more, where I like spice with flavor and this had flavor. They offer a guava chili sauce if you are not a spicy person. Definitely will go back again if I am in the Kaneohe area.

Look, it is Hawaii it's not like we have a huge traditional BBQ scene. However as someone from the south the food here is delicious, reasonably priced and manly sized portions. I come here fairly regularly and will continue to do so. This time I went with the ribs, smoked beans and smoked Mac. Was fantastic

“The Menu” was huge and so good! Got to try a hot sauce they are working on. Super nice server and warm atmosphere. Definitely coming back for the pulehu short ribs and burger next time.
